Manila is the capital of the Philippines and, together with its wider metropolitan area (Metro Manila), home to over 13 million people. The Philippines is a predominantly Christian country, but its Muslim community — known as Moros — numbers approximately 6–10 million, concentrated in the Bangsamoro region of Mindanao and the Sulu Archipelago.
